Manuel Pacciarini aka DJ Manu p is a young disc jockey from Umbria (a region located in the centre of Italy). Despite his young age, he has already gained tremendous experience by performing in many clubs alongside numerous stellar DJs.
His passion for music rose early. He bought his first turntables at the age of 13 and soon after began to appear in the public eye. Manu p has performed in prestigious clubs in his region such as Formula Disco, Matrioska, Essenthia, Gradisca, Lido Village, Charly, and the notorious Red Zone Club. He was also requested to perform outside of his native region at Klang (Arezzo) and within a few months he reached the exalted Cocoricò (Riccione) which is recognised as the temple of underground music in Italy.
His passion for music led Manu P to do even more. He became a producer, set up his own production studio, and began to cooperate with Mantide Records label. He released his first record titled Temptation in November 2009 and six more records (Mauritius, Dominium, Yellow Rocket, Solaire, No Line, Rain Dust) during 2010 and 2011.
Manu p’s talent was detected by the Turkish DJ Ahmet Sendil. DJ Ahmet Sendil asked Manu P to release a track called Kontakt with his own label Bosphorus Underground. Other production collaborations were established with the Roman label Criminal Zone Records and Relogical (Italo Business group). As long as his productions turned out to be successful, Manu p decided to start his own label, Finish Team Records. The first extended play (EP) produced by Finish Team Records called “Randy Athos” was released in October 2010. It was created by Manu P in cooperation with his friend DJ Rubo.
Over the years, Manu P has been constantly researching for innovative opportunities within the music industry and landed on internet live streaming. He conceived a program for emerging local DJs performing techno, minimal, house music. During fall 2010, The Noise Experiment, came to light. The concept revolves around a web radio broadcasting live audio and video every Monday evening from 9:00pm to midnight (Italian time). Internet users can interact with the DJs through a chat. DJs from Umbria and close regions play their set in twp time slots of approximately2 hours each.
The event is hosted by Andrea Pantani, a well known figure in Peguria.
As any on lookers will notice, Manu p’s sets are always very stirring and encompass minimal-techno rhythms as well as tech house. His sets are very creative and never repeated even when the same sounds are played because he continuously researches new sounds and innovative alternatives. Currently, Manu p is a resident DJ at Red Zone Club (Perugia) and plans to keep on producing new tracks With Finish Team Records, Mantide Records, and Memento . What the future holds for the remarkable disc jockey is unknown but what is known is DJ Manu p was born for the music industry.
